"Those
who are blessed are also bothered" were the words of my great aunt Ora
Tressie when remarking about my chronic hip dysfunction which has been
a plague to this day. At an early age, there was exhibited
unusual behavior from speaking and talking to unseen personages to a
penchant for spiritual growth. Ora Tressie said to my mother " we must
watch this one" and "he will walk between two worlds."
I
am very thankful to this family heritage. It has stood me in good stead
and been a secure foundation. What was taught and instructed as a young
person served as a mold as time went by. This heritage is, as
far
as geneology goes back almost two hundred years and likely stretches
back farther. It has been both a blessing giving strength and power and
a bane making views anachronistic. However, I would not change it for
anything.
There was constant communication with my mother and great aunt in the years of my youth. The Sight runs in the family and I inherited a fair share of it. It along with Power was a gift to be used, not abused.. worn as a necessary garment, not flaunted.
By the age of seventeen, clairvoyant impressions came to the fore and the exhibition of uncanny aptitude for the paranormal. By this time, the realization that these traits were not common place dawned as there seemed to be few people among friends who demonstrated these traits. While feeling empowered by the "Powers That Be", there was also a feeling of isolation. A search began to validate the oral tradition and the sensations that flowed through the physical form.
The search lead to the examination of various meditative techniques, religious paths and philosophies. Everyone was a teacher to some degree, whether teching what to encourage or what to avoid. Even those who desired training always taught something valuable and essential for growth. This growth has spanned over five decades to date and will likely continue until the last breath leaves. It, also, lead me to being initiated a 3rd degree High Priest by Lord Shadow here in Columbus. My thanks and blessings are given to that individual.
Recently during the past five years, I have worked with such organizations as The Central Ohio Paranormal Society and The Ohio Exploration Society . These fine talented individuals helped not only to validate the abilities that seemed apparent but also provide evidence and proof of them on various cases and investigations. I owe all of them and their teams a debt of gratitude.
These are also the only paranormal investigating organizations that I wholly endorse. Any group using my name and/or likeness is doing so without consent written, expressed or implied.
I would like to thank Scott Spears and the people at WMRN radio Marion, Ohio for allowing me to be a guest on Monday January 4, 2010 and being given the opportunity to take calls from listeners. It was an enriching experience and hopefully helpful to those who called.
